Featured in Tattoo Magazine’s 2026 Tattoo Artist Guide

After Ici Vaucluse and La Provence, I had another little surprise in 2026: Tatouage Magazine he offered me to appear in his Guide des Tatoueurs 2026.

I was quietly scrolling through Instagram when I saw the notification "Tatouage Magazine has sent you an invitation". They were asking me if I would accept being featured in this new edition. Needless to say, the answer didn’t take three days to think about.

What particularly touched me was that I have known this magazine forever. My father was published in it several times, and I grew up with these issues in my house. Seeing my own work in it years later had, therefore, necessarily a rather special flavor.

Choosing the tattoos to send

When they asked me for images, I didn’t necessarily choose the most recent projects. I was more interested in sending those that told a story about my evolution and the pieces that really marked a milestone in my work.

The first one was obviously my first colored back inspired by Mucha. It’s a piece that forced me to go much further in large compositions and really changed my relationship with color.

I also sent The big colored peacock, which took about forty hours to complete, as well as my portraits inspired by Tamara de Lempicka.

The guide also presents the back of Elise with her Japanese crane and her flowers, as well as Thomas's full sleeve inspired by Mucha. When I look at this selection today, it fairly well represents the different directions I have explored in recent years.

I also sent a painting

I took the opportunity to include one of my oil paintings in the selection. It might have seemed a bit out of place in a tattoo guide, but for me it really isn’t.

I find exactly the same references in the painting and in the tattooing: the female figures, the colors, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and especially the way of constructing an image. The medium changes, not necessarily what interests me visually.

Of course, I went straight to page 108.

When I received the guide, I’m not going to pretend that I started with the cover: I went straight to page 108. And yes, it’s something to see several years of work gathered in one place.

When you get a tattoo, you quickly move from one project to the next. Some big pieces accompany us for months, sometimes much longer, then we start another one and don’t necessarily take the time to look at everything we’ve already created.

There, I had in front of me the backs of Mucha, the peacock, Lempicka, the back of Elise, the arm of Thomas, and a painting. Each image corresponded to a slightly different period.

A recognition among other moments that counted

This page adds to other small milestones in my journey: La Provence, Ici Vaucluse, and the prize I received for my color tattoo at the Convention d’Avignon in 2025. I don’t work to accumulate these kinds of things, but of course I’m very happy when they arrive.

And most importantly, I love being able to keep them here. The blog actually allows me to keep these moments alive without them disappearing in an Instagram story after twenty-four hours.
