On 3 July, I was invited to the Acne Studios Frédéric Malle party in Paris, organised at the boutique on Rue Froissart. The house was presenting its shower gel and body cream, two new treatments inspired by its fragrance created with Frédéric Malle.
The Acne Studios evening with Frédéric Malle in Paris
Upon arrival, I immediately rediscovered what I love about Acne Studios.
The evening brought guests together around the new perfumed treatments and the universe imagined for this launch.
The shop was true to itself. Clean, bright, and without any dramatic staging.
The new products were presented in the middle of the collections. Guests took their time to discover them, chat, and enjoy the evening.
I really like this format.
We are far from the events where everything happens too quickly. Here, we can really take the time to look, to discuss, to enjoy the moment and to meet new people.
I also took the opportunity to take some photos with my favourite vintage Kodak, bought in Notting Hill!
I like to keep track of these evenings, both for the blog and for myself, and above all I love photography, and beautiful places.
Why was this invitation important
Beyond the launch, this invitation also represents a small milestone. For a few months now, I've been spending more and more time in Paris. I come here for appointments, exhibitions, events, to see my sisters, or simply to discover new places. Little by little, this city is taking on a different role in my life.

Receiving an invitation from a brand I've long admired made me feel like I was on the right track.
These are small steps, but they are often what give confidence for what's to come.
A brand that inspires me
What I like about Acne Studios is their way of creating a very strong identity without ever overdoing it.
One colour, one typeface, a few graphic choices... and the brand is immediately recognisable.
This is an approach that really speaks to me. In my work, whether it's for tattooing or with Midnight at Orsay, I always try to go in this direction.
To create something simple, yet instantly recognisable. I think that's what I love most about Acne Studios.
Paris, fashion, design
I don't necessarily want to recount all the events I participate in. But some deserve a place here.
And this evening is part of it.
Because it brings together several things I love: Paris, fashion, design, and lovely encounters.
I left with a few photos, some lovely memories, a little gift from Anthony, my favourite salesperson, and the desire to return to the capital very soon.

For me, this kind of evening isn't just about a product launch.
It's also always a source of inspiration and a way to see the work of brands I've admired for a long time up close.
And if you're curious to discover the products featured that evening, I'm also sharing My full review of the Acne Studios shower gel and body lotion by Frédéric Malle in a dedicated article.
each creation.
What products were presented at Acne Studios?
The new line includes a scented shower gel and a light body lotion, both offered in 200ml bottles.
The composition was conceived by perfumer Suzy Le Helley for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle
The fragrance combines aldehydes and rose with peach, vanilla, sandalwood and musks.
The shop is located at 3 rue Froissart, in the third arrondissement of Paris.
Yes. The fragrance had been launched before the body care. I had actually bought it and presented it in My beauty routine. The evening of July 3rd was dedicated to the launch of the shower gel and body lotion inspired by this fragrance.
