After several years in tattooing, I wanted to explore something else – graphic design. Midnight at Orsay Designs visual identities, websites and art direction for brands, venues and independent projects. I continue to tattoo on the side.

Minuit d'Orsay rassemble plusieurs choses qui comptent dans mon parcours. Minuit évoque les heures où je suis souvent la plus créative, quand tout est plus calme et que les idées prennent forme plus librement. d'Orsay renvoie à Paris, aux quais, à l'architecture, aux musées et à tout l'imaginaire artistique associé à la ville.

The name also translates an important stage in my journey: after training in graphic design at Ynov Aix-en-Provence and several years dedicated to tattooing, I wanted to bring these two practices together. My interest in graphic design never disappeared; it naturally complements my work as a tattoo artist.

With Midnight at Orsay, I develop visual identities, websites and artistic direction, while also continuing with tattooing.

Beyond sharing the same name, I admire her journey and her work. Her arrival in Paris marked the beginning of a period of exceptional creativity, where Art Deco, architecture and decorative arts converged. This pursuit of balance, composition and elegance influences my work today, whether in tattooing, graphic design or visual direction.

Alphonse Mucha is one of my main sources of inspiration. I admire his way of composing an image, of working with lines, ornaments and details without ever losing readability. His universe goes beyond illustration: it brings together art, architecture, typography and decorative arts. This approach influences my large tattoo compositions as much as my graphic design projects, my visual direction, and the subjects I share on this blog.

Yes. Everything published here is personal. These are my observations, my experiences, the references that influence my way of working. No sponsored content, no paid placements.

No. Large projects are an important part of my work because they offer great compositional freedom and allow me to develop a theme over several sessions. But I also do smaller tattoos. Some people like to admire large pieces without wanting to get one themselves. A small tattoo can have just as much meaning: a memory, a life stage, or simply an image you want to keep with you. Each project is approached with the same level of care, regardless of its size.

L'Art Nouveau and Art Deco are two movements that profoundly influence my perspective. I find in them a sense of composition, the work of lines, the balance of forms, and the importance given to detail. Their architecture, posters, objects and typography continue to inspire both my tattoos and my projects in graphic design, visual direction, and the subjects I address on this blog.
