The architectures of that era are incredibly ornate, sometimes almost excessive, but never free<\/strong>. Each curve<\/strong> has a reason to exist. The images look alike, the objects do too, and in the end you can't really tell what stands out from the crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The detail<\/strong> is not a luxury. When people talk about Art Nouveau, one name naturally comes to mind: Alphonse Mucha<\/strong>. Sound posters<\/strong>, ses women<\/strong>, ses compositions<\/strong> have become benchmarks. Faces gentle yet powerful<\/strong>, of asserted stances<\/strong>, a obvious elegance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mucha did not merely illustrate an era. He created a visual language<\/strong> that still transcends time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But Art Nouveau is not limited to Mucha. It also lives on in the\u2019architecture<\/strong>, the furniture<\/strong>, the everyday objects<\/strong>. The Parisian metro entrances designed by Hector Guimard<\/strong>, the buildings of Brussels<\/strong>, evolve Vienna<\/strong>, evolve Prague<\/strong>, the ironwork<\/strong>, the stained glass<\/strong>, the stairs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everything is designed as a coherent set<\/strong>. Art is no longer reserved for museums.
